Toe Talent Scout Referral Challenge
Terms & Conditions · Last updated: 10 July 2026
1. Promoter
The promoter is Toe Wrestling Championship Ltd, of 33 Wadeson Street, London, E2 9DR ("the Promoter").
2. Promotional period
The referral challenge opens when the promotional Facebook post is published and closes at 23:59 BST on Wednesday 15 July 2026.
Competitor applications or referrals received after the closing time will not qualify.
3. Eligibility
- Referrers must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom.
- Employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, event officials directly involved in competitor selection, and their immediate families are not eligible to receive a referral reward.
- Competitors are subject to the separate eligibility requirements, selection process, participation rules and documentation applicable to the 2026 World Toe Wrestling Championships.
- No purchase or payment is required to participate.
4. How to make a valid referral
To make a valid referral:
- A prospective competitor must complete the official competitor application form before the closing time.
- The competitor must name the referrer and provide sufficient information for the Promoter to identify and contact them.
- The application must have resulted directly from the referrer introducing the prospective competitor to the event.
- The prospective competitor must not have submitted an application before the referral challenge opened.
- The referred competitor must subsequently be selected and participate in at least one official championship bout.
- Facebook comments, tags, follows, likes or shares are not required to qualify for a referral reward and will not, by themselves, constitute a valid referral.
- Self-referrals are not permitted.
5. Multiple referral claims
Each competitor may name only one referrer.
Where more than one person claims to have referred the same competitor, the person identified by the competitor in their original application will be treated as the valid referrer.
The Promoter's decision regarding the identity and validity of a referrer will be final, acting reasonably and on the available evidence.
6. Referral rewards
For each valid referred competitor, the referrer will receive the highest applicable reward below:
- Selected and participates in an official bout: £25
- Reaches a championship semi-final: £50
- Reaches a championship final: £75
- Wins the championship: £100
The reward levels are not cumulative for the same competitor.
Rewards from multiple valid referrals may be combined, but the maximum total amount payable to any one referrer under this promotion is £100.
No reward will be payable where a selected competitor withdraws, fails to attend, is unable to participate or is disqualified before completing an official bout.
7. Competitor selection
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.
Competitors will be selected by the Promoter based on factors including suitability, merit, competitive potential, availability, personal story and the requirements of the championship.
The referral of a competitor will not influence or guarantee their selection.
8. Payment
Eligible referrers will be contacted using the details supplied in the competitor's application.
Rewards will be paid in pounds sterling by UK bank transfer within 30 days of the conclusion of the championship, subject to verification of the referral and tournament result.
The referrer is responsible for providing accurate payment information and for any personal tax obligations arising from the reward.
9. Conduct and disqualification
The Promoter may reject or disqualify referrals involving false information, impersonation, duplicate or manufactured applications, harassment, coercion, automated activity or any attempt to manipulate the promotion or competitor-selection process.
10. Personal information
Personal information supplied in connection with the promotion will be used to administer the referral challenge, verify referrals, contact participants and make reward payments.
Information will be processed in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy.
11. Changes or cancellation
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion only where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary. Any material change will be communicated clearly and will not unfairly disadvantage existing valid participants.
12. Facebook and Meta
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Meta.
By participating, referrers release Facebook and Meta from any responsibility or liability arising from the administration of this promotion, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and participants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
